The Life and Adventures of Me
A Quick FLASHBACK ~
Hi! My name is Tammi Simpson. I am currently enrolled in the online MAED through MSU and have two more classes to complete before graduation. But let me rewind a bit . . .
I graduated with a BA in Secondary English Education in 1999 from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL (I thought I was in heaven going from Ohio to sunny Florida!) and went on from there to teach for the next five years. Then, I had my first little miracle and felt that my greatest opportunity to learn and teach would be staying home with my children. Thankfully I was able to do so! In preparation for returning to teaching in the future, I wanted to stay current on the ever-changing world of education and not lose touch with how to be effective in a 21st Century classroom. I decided that now would be a great time to work on getting an MA with a concentration in both literacy and technology. So, while I still love being home with my three children, I am gathering an exciting collection of valuable ideas to implement when I step back into the classroom.

Straight from the HEART ~
I am a very passionate person, which means I throw my whole self into whatever I do. My first passion is God. It is in Him that I live and breathe. My second passion is my family. I love my family! I married my best friend in 2000 and since then God has given us three amazing gifts that keep us constantly entertained. My third passion includes both learning and teaching, since without the first, the second becomes ineffective. These three passions deepen my love for life and for education and keep me always pressing forward.
